Katy is a passionate advocate for holistic, thorough and compassionate care of older people, particularly those in residential aged care, and completed her specialist training in Sydney and Melbourne.

• Katy has expertise in all areas of geriatric medicine, with interests in cognition and dementia, medication management, advance care planning, and palliative care.

• Katy has extensive frontline experience looking after older hospital inpatients and residents of aged care facilities with COVID-19, and has strongly advocated for their prioritisation in decision-making related to the pandemic.

• Katy is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine, the Australian Association of Gerontology and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
