Scope
Aria Health specialises in the care of older people. We consult with older people for a Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA) which includes a thorough assessment of medical problems, physical function, psychological health and social situation. We partner with and make recommendations to GPs to help optimise the health and quality of life of older people.

Cognitive Support and Dementia Nurse Consultant
Our Cognitive Support and Dementia Support Nurse Consultant provides comprehensive, holistic privately-billed assessments for patients with cognitive impairment or dementia with behavioural or mood problems to support them and their families/carers day to day. To find out more, please click here.

Is there a fee?
A referral from a GP for a comprehensive geriatric assessment is required for a Medicare rebate. To organise an appointment please ask your GP to send a referral to referrals@ariahealth.com.au or via fax 03 9086 4168, or phone our friendly reception team on 03 9069 9308 to find out more.
Standard initial and the first review assessment for people living in residential care are bulk-billed (no out of pocket cost to the patient).
Clinic appointments attract an out-of-pocket fee, with a Medicare rebate applicable.
